THE FIRST PLANT
Since I was young, plants have always been very interesting to me, and I always wanted to grow/care for some of my own.
When I was in 13, my sister gifted me my first cactus.
I named him Michael, after Micahel B. Jordan, and he is still thriving today.
Now, at the age of 17, my collection of plants is still growing, and Micahel has many friends
BAMBOO: THE RESILIENT PLANT
Sometimes caring for plants can be difficult.
You may not know when to water your plants or how much sunlight they need, resulting in its death.
If you're struggling with this problem, a simple bamboo shoot may be the right plant for you.
Bamboo is very attainable - I bought mine at Ikea, and easily taken care of.
I find bamboo the easiest to take care of because it can simply be placed in a container filled with water and rocks and placed in a window/near sun, and it will be content.
The only thing the caretaker must do is add more water every so often, but overwatering is not a concern.
My bamboo shoot has grown tremendously since I first bought it, and I have simply gave it water when it seemed thirsty.
So if you're looking for something you can't kill, buy a bamboo shoot!
